I don’t often write poetry, but this prompt is always a fun one.

The Prompt

Pick an object, any object! (use a random word generator, or use one of these objects:

• sock
• fork
• bubble
• hammer
• hydrant
• tooth

Then, write a poem from the point of view of that object. You are not allowed to use the object’s name in your poem.

Bonus

Read your poem to someone and have them guess the object!
