Lately I’ve been having a hard time sitting down and writing. I think I’m ready for summer, even if the weather isn’t! I’m also pretty busy at work with the library’s summer reading program, so that might be a contributing factor.

I’ve stalled a bit on submitting The Abandoned to agents, as I now have to sit down and write a synopsis. It’s much harder than it sounds to write a 1-2 page summary of a novel!  Then there are the moments where my confidence fails me and I begin to wonder if my novel is any good at all… which then makes it harder to keep going on other works-in-progress…
